Going on a vacation or a trip requires days or months of planning. Just like a trip wherein a map can come in handy, when planning to lose weight, a weight loss calendar can be helpful as well.
Before getting on the plane, we first consider our destination. After deciding on the destination - we then think about the budget, the things to do, and of course - the suitcase.
We also consider the days we are going to spend vacationing.
The same thing is applicable, when trying to lose weight. First, we think about the target body weight. Second, we think about how to achieve that goal.
Third and last, we plan on how long it will take to achieve that goal.
To achieve the planned results, careful planning is indeed required. Planning can help reduce the risk of you going off the course and finding ourselves disappointed simply because we failed to drop the weight. This will also help us from turning to unsafe weight loss practices. A weight loss calendar is the perfect tool and should be made during the planning stage.
Like any other calendar, this type of calendar should contain a section for the number of days, a different section for the type of exercise to be performed, another column for diet and nutrition. We can also add a column, that contains motivational sayings. These sayings can keep us going, even if we feel like giving up.
In each column of the weight loss calendar, we write down the different steps. that are needed. For example,
Day 1 - Go jogging, biking or running, - we write these activities under the 'type of exercise' column.
Then under the 'diet and nutrition' column, we write the diet modifications or a meal plan for that day.
