1. Up your exercise. Ughh! Am I kidding? Here I am talking to you about finding motivation and now I want you to work harder? Well...yes, but I am telling you this for good reason and that is that research shows that making drastic changes in your weight loss routine lead to strong motivation.
Think about this for a moment, isn't it greatly motivational to get results? I mean doesn't it prove to you that the choices you are making are worthwhile? It sure does so to get fast motivation up the intensity and/or minutes your exercise each day.
2. Okay, I promised fast AND EASY weight loss motivation strategies so I need to throw in an easy strategy here. I want you to cheat on your diet.
Let me explain...by following a strict low calorie diet during the first 6 days of the week and then allowing yourself a "cheat day" where you allow yourself to eat all of your favorite foods you stay motivated to stick with your diet plan.
But there is a greater benefit to this cheat strategy than just motivation and that is eating a high amount of calories boosts your fat-burning metabolism. When you restrict your calories during the 6 days your metabolism takes a nose-dive along with your ability to burn fat. By boosting your calories for one day you bring your metabolism back up and pump up your fat burning.
3. Keep your head in the game. Research has shown that a key to motivation is to focus on the positive things that your work is bringing into your life. Direct your thoughts toward all of the rewards waiting for you when you are at your ideal weight and you will see your motivation soar.
