Stepping into the weighing scale is not exactly a practice most people are fond of. The increasing consciousness on weight is ultimately raised by growing health concerns. More people recognize they need to lose weight to avoid health risks.

More studies are conducted to research for healthier alternatives to lose weight and this includes research that proves the correlation between protein and weight loss. This research states that amino acids have a direct effect and can aid people who want to lose some weight. There are three main amino acids that aid in this process: the non-essential amino acid carnitine, and the essential amino acids tryptophan and phenylalanine.

1. Carnitine, instead of storing fat, it carries fat to cells to burn into energy.

2. Tryptophan sends signals to the brain that brings about the feeling of fullness.

3. Phenylalanine is responsible for the body's appetite.

People who desire to lose pounds are faced with a lot of challenges. There are different diet schemes offered by nutritionists and weight exercises. But exercising and dieting are grueling. This is why, some people resort to easier alternatives. For people who are desperate though or who are simply not willing to go through the difficulty of working on their scales take different measures such as surgical procedures and weight loss pills. Although effective, these options are not encouraged because of the health risks involved. People need to understand that healthier options are available such as the latest breakthrough in research that proves the relationship between protein and weight loss.
